Everybody talks about Google ad sense.....Does that really earn you what they claim to be earning? Can I earn money just if the people visit my site?
Before I clarify these, let me explain this service to you.
What is AdSense?
Google AdSense sent ads to your website into pre specified panels in your web pages. The ads are sponsored by their publishers and they pay Google for every click that occurs on their ads. Google finds it easier to earn more traffic by placing them on your website, and agrees to share a part of its revenue with you. You will need to have an account with Google to start managing the ads and the revenue. You earn money whenever your visitors click on these ads and the statistics show up on your AdSense account.
Message straight from Google: "AdSense automatically crawls the content of your pages and delivers ads that are relevant to your audience and your site content, ads so well matched, in fact, that your readers will actually find them useful."
So I have a website, I put some Google ads on it and wait for the money to come over....sounds like a cool way of making money, huh....?
Well! There is more than what you thought it would take. The pages on your website that portray Google ads, needs to also show up on search engines, so you get traffic into your website. You will need to keep generating good content that gets good traffic flowing into your web pages. There is no way to make good money with AdSense unless you have consistent, targeted traffic to your website.
Moreover just by getting more traffic into the site will not guarantee more clicks on the ads. Your Google ad category and the type of panels that you select and the position in your website where it's displayed...all would count when it comes to getting more clicks on those ads. |
